Tips for Tyre Maintenance - TyreCafe

by Editor News

Do you think it is important for us to take care of our tyres? Most of us don’t think that. Tyres are one of the most significant yet overlooked parts of the vehicle. It is very important for us to check our tyres from time to time. Seems difficult? It’s not. The part of the tyre that touches the ground is called the footprint and it is important to keep that clean. Adequate tyre condition and pressure is highly important for maximum grip, balanced breaking, and maximum tyre life. One should take care of the following things about the tyres:

  1. Tyre pressure

Inadequate tyre pressures will result in decreasing the tyre life. The pressure may vary according to vehicle loading capacity and speed. One should check the pressure of tyre at least once a week and after a long drive. To get your tyre under proper pressure check it with a gauge.

  1. Tyre rotation

It is important to rotate your tyre on a daily basis. It helps in improving the overall performance of the vehicle and improves tyre life.

  1. Tyre tread wear

Another important part is checking the tread wear on a regular basis. Car drivers should always give attention to their tread level. This can be done by using the tread wear indicator. The tread wear indicators indicated whether or not you need to replace your tyre. When the tread depth is lower than the minimum legal tread value, then it’s time to change your tyre.

Buy tyres from renowned brands which are tubeless and do not cling to the surface. So if you really want to increase your tyre life, purchase high-quality tyres and keep them well-maintained.
