The new Anteo by Prometeon is a line-up that comprised of six items at the launch - Pro T, Pro D and Pro T steer, drive and trailer tires for on-road use, along with Mover M, Mover S and Mover D for on and off-road use.
Another brand of truck tires from the organization behind the Pirelli commercial range has launched in Milan. Prometeon says it is planning to cover all market sections and value groups in the truck and bus tire segment. With Anteo, it plans to move from a mono-brand culture to a multi-brand approach.
Giorgio Bruno, chairman and chief executive officer of Prometeon Tyre Group stated, “Our premium proposal clearly consists of Pirelli branded products with Prometeon technology.” He further said, “It is very important to build up our own brand portfolio. Anteo is the first one, confirming our focus on and our dedication to the truck and bus sector. We are doing this in order to create value for our partners and our company.”
The Anteo range has been dispatched along with a platform approach from Prometeon. The organization will introduce related frameworks and technological arrangements to support its tyres in any way required. An extended Prometeon dealer system will offer new tire services. These will be authoritatively exhibited in detail in the coming months.
Prometeon uses the technology under a license agreement with Pirelli Tyre and has more than 100 years' experience in the Industrial tyre sector, offering an entire range of products and services for all types of usage. The group has 4 factories, two present in Brazil, one in Egypt and one in Turkey. IT has over 7,300 employees and has a commercial presence in over 160 countries. At the heart of the group’s technological innovation are the Research and Development centres in Italy and Brazil, where a total of 100 researchers are employed.
