Apollo Bad Road Buddies ended with its first edition in Goa

The debut version of Apollo Tyres' client outreach program – Bad Road Buddies (BRB) went to a sparkling completion in Goa, on Sunday, March 3, 2019. The activity was propelled to build and connect with the SUV/ 4x4 owners in India. The closing function of the off-roading programme was attended by the cricket sensation and brand ambassador for Apollo Tyres, Sachin Tendulkar.

A group of about 50 4x4 off-roaders, journalists and social media influencers from various parts of the nation went to the last leg of the drive. They were joined by the Chairman of Apollo Tyres Ltd., Onkar S Kanwar and Neeraj Kanwar, the Vice Chairman and MD of Apollo Tyres Ltd.

This is a unique event that had not been organized by any other tyre companies before. The company aims to build Apollo Bad Road Buddies as a vigorous network or community of SUV owners/drivers. The company’s aim is to give support to upcoming off-roaders and devotees a stage to meet up and explore the unexplored roads.

The debut version, which lasted for more than two days, saw a procession of about 100 vehicles fitted with Apollo APTERRA tyres, which are intended to give a quiet and comfortable drive even in the hardest of terrains. Heading out from Goa to Dandeli, and back, the members of the Bad Road Buddies went through some very challenging man-made and natural off-roading tracks. Exploring through the landscapes and seeing amazing perspectives, the experience searchers of Bad Road Buddies had an unmatched motoring knowledge. The occasion closed with a vivacious act by the musical gang, 'Parikrama' at night. Making new fellowships and recollections en route, the Bad Road Buddies returned home with a lifetime worth of stories to tell.
