A joint venture has been formed between Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI) and Jaipur based start-up Fleeca India to develop tyre pressure monitoring system. The idea behind this is to help drivers examine their vehicle’s tyre in order to prevent accidents due to tyre burst.

In this venture between CEERI and Fleeca India, an MoU has been signed where Fleeca will use the R&D labs of CEERI for sampling and technical testing.

Tikam Chand Jain, Founder & CEO, Fleeca India said, “We are pleased to announce our collaboration with CEERI, Pilani where we will be mentored by veteran scientists and experts for developing TPMS. Our access to world-class R&D labs at CEERI will facilitate us to perform critical testing which is mandatory for product development. This support from CEERI will help Fleeca to develop technology which will change the scenario of the logistics industry.”

Dr D.K. Aswal, Director CSIR – CEERI, Pilani said, “In this competitive world, we rarely come across such startups that are thriving hard to change the entire industry with technology advancements. Fleeca is the first startup to whom we are providing technical assistance at our R&D centre. The journey of developing this product will definitely change the current scenario of how the logistics industry operates.”

Currently, Fleeca is operating in 8 states that cover 15 cities. It also has 120 functional centres on the highways of Delhi NCR to Kolkata and from Mumbai to Bangalore and Chennai at a distance of every 100 – 200 km where they provide basic vehicle inspection services like alignment, tyre pressure, and facilities for drivers, safe vehicle parking and more. This is a great initiative that will help reduce accidents that happen due to tyre bursts.
