Nexen tyres is one of the finest tyre manufacturing companies in the world. Headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the company was established in the year 1942 under the name Heung-A Tire Company. Later in the year 1956, it was recognized as the first Korean tyre manufacturing company. After a few decades in the year 1985, the company set up a plant in Yangsan, South Gyeongasng province, which is dedicated to the production of radial tyres. The manufacturer finally changed its name to Nexen Tire Corporation in the year 2000. In the long journey since its inception, the tyre maker has managed to establish its business across Europe and North America. In the year 2005, it has been awarded with a patent for its advanced technology to manufacture silicate nano-composite tyres. The next year, it managed to develop a new range of UHP (Ultra High Performance) and SUV pattern tyres. Dealership network in India:
There are no authorized dealerships of Nexen in India as of now. But the company will be venturing in the country very soon with their outlets in many cities. Presently, their tyres are only available online through order. At the same time there are a very few exclusive Nexen tyre dealers or retailers present in India, who import these products directly and distribute them as per the customer requirements. There is no doubt that the company has a good reputation in India since they are high in quality and reasonable in terms of price range. This may be the reason why the sales and distribution network of the tyre marque is surging upwards in the country. The name of Nexen tyre is synonymous with quality and reliability. They are constantly upgrading and making better products to increase their share in the market.
